This bottle vase is thrown on the wheel in Bennett's stoneware clay. It has been hand carved at the leather hard stage to create the pattern.
Glaze was painted on and the colour changes on the way down from a pale whitish blue down to a deep blue at the bottom of the piece.
This piece is one of a kind.
