The teapot is thrown on the wheel in three pieces and assembled at the leather hard stage. Made in Bennett's stoneware clay and glazed white inside, and turquoise on the outside.
This teapot features teapot holes between the body and the spout which helps hold back the bulk of the tea leaves from clogging the spout. The lid has a hole to let air in for a smooth pour, and has a catch to stop the lid falling out as you pour.
Each piece is hand made, and therefore may differ slightly from the picture.
